In other crappy news, the coffee pot at work died last night! Medics and Es trying to help people without coffee, not good!

damn. well, at least its fixed. lol

    OLD Killswitch...

    RIP ASILD... lol

Tim Lambesis was my Idol.. I mean.. he still kinda is.

Old Avenged is good too. never liked the other stuff. too Radio rock for me. Thats why I say Old avenged and killswitch, even AILD. Have you heard the bands new gig? Its the guys from AILD and the singer from i think Oh Sleeper.. pretty good. not as heavy as AILD, but their music is amazing still. they are talented for sure.

Ya. That sucks about Tim. Crazy shit. I will check out the new band. Totally agree about old KSE. And old ASLD. And old Avenged.

I grew up listening to Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Pantera, Metallica, Judas Priest, Megadeth in the 70's and 80's and 90's. I love heavy music.

It blows my mind that an IT person would have to work on a coffee maker. That just trips me out.

Yeah.. I think we will be good friends. Lol AILD has been one of, if not my favorite band for years and years. Seen them live (when Tim was tiny Tim still lol). Reflections is my favorite song. Forver is also up there.

Tbh tho.. I listen to a lot of newer metal tho too. Whitechapel type stuff.

Yup. I saw AILD open for KSE at the Palladium in LA. That was a good show!!

I am all over the place musically. I love EDM, and I still listen to Sepultura and TOOL is my all-time favorite band. Don't get me started about how long I have been waiting for TOOL's next (and likely last record).

If it is heavy, I am down.

So... I've been 2wd since 05 when I got this Taco. I've had a myriad of 4x4's and even did some trail racing back in VA. HONESTLY, you can't convert, plain and simple. Biggest reason is it is your DD. A conversion of any type is going to take some serious time if you do it with help from TW folks. If you pay someone to do it, it will still take time... and labor is not cheap. You would DEFINETLY be able to sell yours, and get into a 4x4 for less money, less time, and SO MANY LESS hassles. Remember, custom trucks, custom problems!

I have the $$, time, and spare vehicle to do it myself (with help from others) and will not. IF I purchase a 4X4, it will be a specific one I am very familiar with, and know is a GREAT deal. I know I can get some good cash out of my PreRunner as well. With that said, I have been all over the place with my truck. Its modified ALMOST as much as possible for the trail for a 2wd. If I don't go 4x4 I will have ECGS put an air locker in it while I visit VA. Long Travel is a bit less complicated, but not less expensive. FOR ME, I am more in an overland\backroads frame of mind. I want to explore and camp so the long travel, though extremely cool, isn't as attractive. As far as 4x4, I have missed a few runs and exciting areas over the years, but I have been to tons of places many thought I couldn't go. If the planets align and a THE 4x4 becomes plausible, I'll jump. If not, I will still do more adventuring in my current PreRunner than many with built 4x4's do!!! I can't base big $$ decisions on pride or a once a month trip for one or 2 days.

Do I wish I had 4x4 with lockers front and rear, hell yes, but I wish for a lot of things, and sometimes it is just smarter and more Zen to do the very best with the hand you're dealt.

    WHERE? We want to go!!!

So I made my family secret recipe Sicilian deep dish pizza last night and had some chimichurri sauce left over from lunch yesterday. Wash that down with a Blue Moon and we're off. Kind of a trippy combo but it just works. I could eat a nail file if it had a good chimi sauce. Breakfast of champions!!!
