No, he didn't get banned for that. However, things have been discussed to avoid an issue like this happening in the futer.

@a.smo what do you think of the Samsung 65 inch 8500 curved UHD? I'm seriously thinking about picking that tv up very soon.

I found the test pool questions for the tech and general exams on the ARRL website. Here is the link to the tech one:

    http://ncvec.org/page.php?id=362

So, when I click the link, the questions are in the following format:

    T1A01 (C) [97.1]

Which of the following is a purpose of the Amateur Radio Service as stated in the FCC rules and regulations?

    A. Providing personal radio communications for as many citizens as possible

    B. Providing communications for international non-profit organizations

    C. Advancing skills in the technical and communication phases of the radio art

    D. All of these choices are correct

QUESTION: Am I correct that where it says "(C)" up top, that signifies that C is the answer?

The way I like to study when I have a test pool is to print it off and blackout everything that is NOT the correct answer, so that I don't confuse myself while studying it. I have had 3 TBIs, and I have a hard time studying for multiple choice exams any other way.

    For phx13...

    He is correct

From the middle of the page at http://www.ncvec.org/page.php?id=338

The actual questions are numbered in a format that reflects the element, subelement and subtopic section of the syllabus where the question is found, example: T1A01 etc. Each pool is released with the exact questions and 4 multiple choice answers and the correct answer for each question is designated in ( ) just after each question ; Example: T1A01 (D) some with a rules reference [97.xxx] after the correct answer letter. On the actual exam, the correct answer letter in parentheses, and any rules citations do not appear with the question number.

I like www.qrz.com for practice tests. It's free, explains why an answer is correct and gives you actual practice tests with a score. It start averaging 85%+ on those and you are good to go test.

If you have the time, practice general and maybe extra too.you pay one fee and can test on all three. Zero to extra in one shot

Plan on practicing both until I have a decent grasp of Tech and General, then will try those. If I get General, then I will try Extra too, but am not expecting it.

Took over 3 hours to drive from Tucson to Phoenix after lunch today. Anybody else see that accident? Cars looked like they've been crushed and cubed at the salvage yards.
