You don't have thousands of rounds stock piled? :) I won't be able to help ya for about 3 weeks. I'll be out of town the next 3 Fridays but we will get it done! I'll bring some other items that will make you ruin your credit cards.

Wow, you said 3rd! A day to be marked in history ;)

You still have your rear crossmember in correct? I took mine out and basically replaced it about .5" forward with the new crossmember. That, and I angled my lower shock mounts down to compensate for the extra length.

This is one of the better pictures I think to show the angled shocks and mounts.

    20160925_134250_zpspvbewyhu_61811dd4d51368be802a292aa9c5f165e0efd761.jpg

Best picture I have to show bump and droop it with shocks at these angles. I think I have a little more droop, but you get the picture.

If you remount, will you need more shock travel? E.g. the deavers have 12" of travel for example but you only have 10" shocks. To me, makes no sense in remounting, realizing you need longer shocks due to travel, and then get longer shocks and possibly remount.

Mine was 20 hours. But I had a ton of help. @RPS1030 directed and lead the truck assault. It would've been closer to 2-3days if it was myself.

    True this!

Let me know! I'll come by and help. I owe ya!

nahh... A project like that needs some food too. Or I'll get hangry. :D

Yes. If you look at my truck pictures, you'll see that theres a darker brake line. With the first gens, you have buy a second regular brake line for the rear and put it in series with the 1st one. The rear brake lines are male and female sided.

Yea that relocation really came out good! I kept the stock crossmember and added the new shock crossmember right in front of it.. from the pics it looks like you have a little more up travel than me because I kept the lower tabs parallel to the ground instead of angling them down for clearance.

    No bumps?

What type of valving did you do on the shocks when you mounted the that way /\. And if I get all the parts do you Guys think you could give me a hand with the welding on the cross member and what not.

I thought I was going to have to move the crossmember back further about 2". Got lucky and didn't need too but I already had it off by then.

And not yet. Haha. I have designed a bump pad, but need to get it milled. I have bump stops ready too, just waiting on the bump pad.

I got my shocks revalved by @05TacoRunner. He said he called DSM after fox wouldn't give him any info. DSM sent over their typical pack for this configuration. I don't believe Jason recalls the valving.

Can't guarantee I can help with the welding personally as my roommate used a tig mostly. I don't expect him to do that again, though he might. I'm down to help though!

I have maybe 20 minutes welding experience so I would not want to do that on someone's truck. But I am more than happy to give a hand with anything.

What King shocks did you get for the rear?

I am pretty sure they are 10s but I think I am going to take them off and put 12s on do a U bolt flip and do the cross member to relocate them. So I will most likely have a dam near new set of kings for sale

How much lift does the j59 leaf pack give? What's the weight capacity and how much were you carrying?

Okay guys, real quick question, what's everyone's opinion about engine swapping, I'm thinking of swapping to a v-8 in that case I need to upgrade tranny and axle, which isn't a problem but do any of you know a good swap that would match up to our wiring harnesses and would push enough power for me to build to beat these stupid mustangs and maro's
