ok so here is what i have in mind.

on 11/8 meet at the lower sycamore entrance at 630pm, leave at 7pm.
sycamore entrance here- "working on getting pin points at the moment"
from there we will do the loop, and come out of upper sycamore. then we will head up the 87 freeway to log corral trail.
log corral trail entrance here- "working on getting pin points at the moment"
we should be there no later than 830pm, EASILY. i can do the loop in less than 30 minutes easy with no stops, and hauling ass.

in log corral trail, we will be camping somewhere from the 87 turnoff down in the wash. you would not be able to miss us.
for people not camping friday night, please meet us on log corral trail at the camp around 8am. i figure we will take off to begin the trail by 830am.

the first mile in log corral trail is pretty dam challenging, once we get past that its all nice and breezy all the way up and over the mountain to the back side of bartlett lake, very scenic.

i figure about 1.5-3 hours to get to the water hoping nothing goes wrong with the rigs.

this is the next camping spot, right on bartlett lake. bring some fishing poles and lets see what we can get!
Me personally, i can not camp saturday night, so i plan to take off from bartlett to wheel back around 1pm. so if you cant camp saturday night, no worries in trying to figure out how to get back.

so this is what i got so far, those of you camping saturday night, can you guys discuss and figure out if you want to go back out through log corral trail, or if you want to go to sunflower on the powerline road?
once i get those details, i will update the OP.

Looks like we have 2 more committed to the Saturday morning start. Staticsquelch and Specalt both are interested and likely to commit, as we have been looking for a reason to camp in the desert this month.

Easy in Google Maps. Find the area on the map, go to My Places, then use Create Map. You can add lines, waypoints, markers, etc. and save the map as a public map. Then just post up the link to the whole map when done so everyone can use it. You can edit it at any time.

Both if I can swing it. I haven't really been camping since the White Mts so two weekends in a row would be awesome :D

this is going to be interesting!
    I'm very excited.

I was thinking about it and I remember talking to guys that have done it in their trucks and it takes them 5 hours in and 3 out.
I think its going to take us longer than we think, I say we cut if off at the amount of trucks we have now, what do you guys think?
    Edit:
ok so here is the upper and lower sycamore points, I can not find where the log corral trail one is on google maps, I cant get it to go to satellite. I see it on mapquest though... but I cant match it up haha.

So who has done this trial in one of our long & low trail sleds? Pics look like there may be some areas that length will certainly come into play. I look forward to seeing it in person, I'm overdue for some rock brawlin

I will most likely hook up with whoever is camping Friday night in Log Coral Wash off 87. Ill be picking up Connor after he gets off work at 6:00 so not likely we will be able to hit the loop prior to heading to camp

i havent done it in one of our trucks, but there is 1 spot that length would come into play, but there is a bypass for that one, (the bypass is still hard, your still in a canyon so you cant really go around much)

    happy wife happy life! haha
so we will see you saturday morning!

Okay sounds good, where does he work? you should be able to get there in time for the loop..
