AZ Campouts

Oh that answers that question haha. I am taking a real quick trip up to Portland this weekend.

Edit. I can text you some cool spots tho.

 

We might stay at the cabin and soak up some A/C. hit the lake in the morning for some fishing and chill on the patio in the evening. After speaking with my dad, hes going up next weekend and maybe will just head up with him. I'll be sure to let you know

 

The following weekend I am free. But yeah relaxing and getting some AC is nice right now and the evenings are perfect for porch sitting and whiskey with some laughs.

 

That sound like a great plan! Ill get that plan rolling with the misses and see what we can make happen!

Used to be a family favorite for year, but alas, no more...

 

EAGAR! That's my home town.

 

Yeah no more. Drove there sunday to go do some paddle boarding and let the dogs run. Ended up just taking the dogs on a walk around the lake as the parking lot was over camped with people and the weeds in the lake were so over grown we couldnt get the paddle boards out to the lake. If i would have showed up friday to camp I am sure we could have blocked off a good section to post up in and wouldnt have had to many people close.

 

There used to be an old-timer with game and fish that dredged all the lakes up there. After he retired they quit doing it. Now most of the lakes are overgrown.

 

Oh really? Damn that sucks. It needs to be done. Maybe wait a few more years for people to stop going to it then do it again.

 

We are headed up early Friday morning, I'll give you call when we arrive! Think we are planning on some SUP and fishing Saturday am on Holly. My dad Gf and I will be there for a bit. Wanna fish n float? Either that or we can swing by your place for the afternoon porch sitting whiskey sippin hour

 

Its been a year or two since I got my rod wet. That sounds fun. I dont think I have any plans at all that weekend so I am game!

Boss got canned last week, and school started back, so my schedule's look might purdy.

I'm still getting out 4/20 weekend though.

 

15-20 years ago i used to love the short drives up to the rim to get away for a few days but now i have to go east to get away.
My dad lives in nutrioso, has a place up by Escudilla mntn. It's nice and quiet there, no traffic, no parties just stars and wind. I really hate that this state has become so crowded.

 

I drive through Nutrioso every day!

 

I moved up here to show low to escape the people and now its just traffic everywhere. I need to move again.
