My fully built mustang drag car sold in a week. And I built it at home in my garage.....

Craigslist gets so many lookers I guarantee that guy has had a lot of people out to look at it.... Im just stating what I have found over my years of Craigslist purchases. Im not saying its the rule for all. Yes a built truck narrows your audience, however with dune season , and nice weather here he has had more now than he would any other time of the year. I also never said I guarantee there is a problem with it. But its something to look out for because I would bet people have came and test drove it... And passed on it hence the reason its still for sale

Hell with 100k miles on it a guy could still finance it..... So that opens all your bro dozer type kids up to purchase it as well.

The truck looks nice. But I would thoroughly check it out for sure....

It may be great. But the time on Craigslist would make me question it.

Agreed with the consensus. It took a long time to sell my 1st gen with a moderate build (lift/bumpers/sliders). Actually very little interest/questions. Makes it tough to negotiate when there is nobody even looking.

I have BHLM headlights that I need to trade for stock headlights or BHLM lights that don't have the DRL/turnsignal bezel painted black (more Hawaii inspection BS). They have some manageable UV damage on the upper part of the lense and a little AZ pinstripes . I'll take pics in the morningz. Maybe trade for and give a little cash.

Looked at it with David. It had some small issues but what vehicle set up like that and gets used doesnt. Nothing is perfect.

Don't get me wrong I wasn't saying it had to be perfect..... Just checked thoroughly is all. It did look like a nice build as I mentioned earlier. Im just always a little Leary when. Things have been on and posted over and over and over... Could just be me though.

Anyone need a big ass kitchen table & 6 chairs. Not perfect, has scratches and my dog chew a chair leg or 3. Pub height, big a fuck. Kinda a fancying style, but WTF do I know.

    $100 and it's yours.

I'll post pics tomorrow if anyone's interested.

Huge thanks to @05TacoRunner for meeting me out there! Jason has a great eye and I learned a lot about the truck just from him getting underneath it. The truck seemed in good order and the dude was honest. I wish the bed was a little more intact... but fuck it I'm putting a toolbox back there and it's going to be awesome I'm picking it up on Tuesday!

Guy was a smoker though any advice on getting that out let me know. Also going to be in the market for seat covers...

Steam clean the headliner, soap and scrub the plastic parts, and pull the carpet, replace or just bedline the floor.

You can not go wrong with Wet Oakley covers, worth every penny.

    Congrats!

I know the dealership has little smoke bombs and they basically get the smell out. You put them in there and than close the car up in the sun for a day or two and it kills off the smell. I had a friend who was a master tech at Toyota and he said they used to do it on cars a few times a week. Worked well.
