Homegrown has been sidelined with red tape. On top of that Aspen is under attack by the hikers saying bikes are dangerous. Its not a good situation. TORCA is doing there best to play nice.

The never ending battle. Seriously sucks. We've dealt with it here a bunch too. Happens everywhere. Evidently hikers think that they own the mountain and that no other users should be granted access.. Funny enough, with all the flooding and trail damage on South Mountain a few years ago, it was the mtb community working with rangers to fix it all.. No hikers to be seen. Sucks to hear about art and Tara getting caught up in red tape. Are they still going to be able to host Pachanga on Lemon?

Pachanga is still a go. And yeah if MTB loses Aspen it will be un useable in a year. Too many trees fall up there each year and the MTB community is the only ones who clean them up.
