@JTB727 has a much cleaner/nicer truck. You should stick with that. I would only be looking to sell.

Here is a recap of our conversation. @Daria please feel free to chime in here. This was in a 2500 Powerwagon (so a slightly different product than the Tacoma version).

    Daria's concerns:
Here are his main concerns and issues with it during the four months we had it.
    1. One of the [ammo] cans cracked around the J hook.
    2. The plastic of the deck underneath the steel cross ribs was breaking/cracking.
    3. We purchased dividers to help organize within the drawers and they never seems to stay in place.

    Our response:
    1. Ammo can cracked around J-Hook: This is almost always due to over-torquing [on the j-hook]. It's easy to do and we have been working on a fail safe to keep it from happening. You can literally tighten them down to massive levels without realizing it as the plastic is pliable and won't give up any fight and you keep thinking it should be tighter.
    2. The plastic crack on under the deck: Was this right at drawer opening under the last steel tube (cross rib)? If yes, it's not a structural piece of plastic. We added that plastic to make the drawers "clunk" rather than "clank" when you close them. It's not ideal[that it cracked], we admit, but would not affect the integrity of your product in any way.
    3. The dividers... suck. We know it, we admit it, we're ashamed of them and we've been working like crazy on it, and we've finally solved it. Surprisingly, not many people complain about it so we have not pulled them off the market because people still want them. The fix actually required a mold change to the drawer itself, which was not entirely simple. Now they click/lock into the sides of the drawer so they won't pop out.

*** please note that the narrow drawer divider on the midsize is the updated divider (what the new drawer/divider combo will look like for the full-size product, and the wide midsize drawer) *** If anyone out there has Tacoma wide dividers (right drawer) and hates them, let us know and we will send you new ones when they get in at no cost.

    Nice!

Much respect for a company that has open eyes and admits when parts of their product are less than ideal instead of fiercely defending them blindly.

Since the issues with their system was on a slightly different product than the Tacoma you are welcome to send one to be installed on my Tacoma and we can test it with what @Daria refers to as "hooning".

It depends on the context. We watch a lot of Hoonigans in our house. Per Hoonigan,
”A person who operates a motor vehicle in an aggressive and unorthodox manner, consisting of, but not limited to, drifting, burnouts, doughnuts as well as acts of automotive aeronautics. One who hoons.“

We do not go crazy in the PW anymore. It used to be our wheeling rig though. Now we hoon in the 85 4runner. We go anywhere at any cost. No fucks given, except proper trail etiquette. We aren’t complete savages.... I think. Jason (@05TacoRunner ) is a good example for offroad hooning. Jason goes anywhere, doesn’t care what he’s driving, he doesn’t need any dang lockers, he just conquers anything that comes across his path. And none of his 38 Toyotas have ever left him stranded.
