    This is a longshot..

I've got a 2016 and I've been fighting to get my transmission fluid level checked manually. Has anyone had any luck with any of the dealerships in town to have it checked? So far Earnhardt and AutoNation Tempe have been a pain in my ass and reluctant to do so.

If anyone has had any luck please let me know the dealer and your service advisors' name.

Or go talk to Jose at Camelback. He handled all my service work when my truck was still dealership worthy

I wish I could tell you a service guy to talk with at Earnhardt, but the guy I dealt with for years there with my 06 now runs the parts department. His name is Matt! All tatted up.

Yeah I've met Matt. I bought my '16 at Earnhardt and he helped me negotiate my TRD wheels into the purchase

Not sure if your'e still searching Ryan but Camelback Toyota in Phoenix is hands down the best dealership experience I've had personally. I've always worked with Robert there. They don't try to rip you off, and they seem to be honest and knowledgable. I don't take my truck to the dealership often, but I've never questioned anything when I've worked with them. Can't say the same for other dealerships in the vallery, especially Riverview.

On a side note: anyone looking for help on old FJs... go there. A couple of the service guys specialize in FJ60s and FJ62s.

Whaat? Sorry but Camelback Toyota needs to get off their high horse. Since they are in Phoenix, they have better clients to deal with that will be stupid enough to work with them.
The only thing I go to them are for parts. Vehicles, they want to buy your trade in low as fcuk and sell you super high. The sales 'director' and managers and sales persons don't know what they are talking aboot and then try to jack you on prices. Not my cup of tea.

I've bought from Riverview, Big Two, Earnhardt and Tempe Toyota and would choose anyone of those before camelback.

Then again the individuals and sales team are what make it happen. Dealerships go through people like a revolving door.

I can only vouch for the service department... Which is what Ryan (the OP) needs. I won't vouch for the sales department...

A little late to the game but I picked up my 2016 at Earnhardt. The only issue I've had so far is the hood vibration problem and they were very quick to fix that. Has anyone with a 2016 taken theirs to a dealer to resolve the issue in TSB-0077-16? It's suppose to be a fix for transmission shifting issues that many in the 3rd Gen forum have been complaining about. The initial feedback from the 3rd Gen forum seems to be mostly positive for those that have had the changes in the TSB done. I want to get mine checked, have noticed some issues with shifting when using cruise control.

Thanks! I took my truck to camelback last week to have the 3rd gen transmission TSB completed and it was hands down the best dealership experience I've had. I didn't even bring up the transmission fluid rumors and they asked me if I'd like to have my fluid level checked. Will be going to camelback from now on. My service advisor was Ed.

Just did my TSB at camelback (2nd time in now) and asked for my fluid check and they just said the truck shifts at the normal points I guess. Wanted an alignment and they said they want a machine to align the wheel and I just took it home and adjusted the toe by myself. Sales was also kind of annoying. Probably should of walked and came back the next day. Was a fair deal but could of been better. I just live down the street so I use camelback
