Not sure what "will fix new tacomas" or "Drak Blue Toyota tacoma tailgate " or " sliver Toyota tacoma tailgate" means in the ads??

I said thats all no big deal what was the junkyard and I will call them. He said "I dont know". This dude is a thief for sure!!!

Wish I could do more guys..not my jurisdiction and all I can do for now is pass on the info to those that work that area..this type of thing takes time to build a case. We have to make sure all i's are dotted and t's are crossed before we can present the case to the county attorney.

When I responded to him he only had the gold one. After the 3rd tailgate it became obvious what he was doing that's when I started flagging him.

So no I would not support him...

someone needs to bust this guy IF they were in fact stolen. you'd think someone in the PHX area that had a tailgate stolen of one of his colors would be a member here. who knows though.

but he said on all three ads that his friend got rid of it and gave it to him. i doubt he has three friends with tacomas that got rid of the tailgates.

My grandfather-in-law had his tailgate stolen off his 2008 Chevy Silverado about 8 months ago. He didnt know what to do as factory replacements were ~$1300 and insurance/police reports were no help. I told him I would monitor Craigslist as I was sure I would find it. Well, I monitored pretty intensely as I'm a craigslist addict, and after 7 months i kinda forget about it. Browsing Denver's craiglist (travel there often and 400 miles to the north) the other day I go to "AutoParts", and before I type "Tacoma" I notice the 2nd post down says "White Silverado tailgate". I think to myself hmmmmm better click on it. Sure enough....has the EXACT pinstriping from grandpas tailgate...(was a unique blend of turquoise, yellow, and red pinstripes). Anyway, immediately called Denver police and they said they needed more evidence. Shame....someone got it for $350...a steal in many ways.

Lock your tailgates people, law enforcement doesnt have time for these things. I'm investing in a pop-n-lock, in addition to the first gen feature of non-slide off tailgates like the newer vehicles!
