Moto360 price drop to 179$ all day long. And the 5.1.1 update is coming which gives users the ability to connect the watch to wifi and not need a phone for Internet access!

Decided to upload all my music to my work laptop. Dropped in all the music files into iTunes yesterday at 1pm.

It just finished 'processing and checking for gapless playback". Almost 24 hours to get all my music showing to where I can play it.

I do this with Winamp, takes less than 10 seconds.

Not like my MacBook is a slouch either. i7, 16gb of RAM 750gb SSD.

I hate dealing with iTunes. I was never really a music library person either. I did it with WinAmp 2 for a while, then Amarok. I keep my music well organised, so I find it easier to just play the music from the directory it's in.

I manage my own music as well. I just haven't found a good player that works on Mac and I wanted to listen to my music off my hard drive.

I like Winamp but I don't think they will ever work on it again. It just shocked me that it took almost 24 hours to put my music in order. This isn't including the time to copy it all to the local HDD either.

when I was setting up my computer after I got it up and running again.. I tried every media player there was available to try and get off the iTunes wagon for weeks straight. Winamp, music bee, media monkey, etc etc. I ended up going back to iTunes.. :pout: I still organize my music, in my folders, and via playlists.. but everything else just fell short in some key areas.. I hate that Im stuck with itunes.. but it just works and fits my needs so well. I did go back to iTunes 10 (the newer versions are absolute crap) and have it set up nicely.. plus.. I still have my one Ipod for the truck, and Ive been using iTunes since the original Ipod came out.. im just familuar with it. not to mention I have Isyncr which just reads iTunes and allows me to sync my samsung just like i would my ipod.. this way my ipod and phone are mirrored images of each other. thats the kind of organization i like.

What program are you using to manage all of your cameras? I've got more than a dozen cameras distributed around my house/yard and I'm trying to manage them using Blue Iris. I've been spending my spare time the last few weeks trying to get the software configured with geofencing and multiple profiles. Finally getting closer to where I want the cameras to be. Right now, when a camera is triggered, it creates a 20 second video file of the alert. A few days after I enabled that feature, some dirtbag decided to swipe a box from Amazon off of my porch while I was at work. While I have no faith of ever getting that package back, I did get a really clear video of the theft. Now if I could only find the "gentleman" who liberated my package...
