My works software client isn't updated to Windows 10 yet either. I had to use my Macbook to connect this morning. They are working on it and should have it updated in a week according to my IT team.

Spool up a VM, play with it on that until you work the bugs out.

More than likely I will put it on VM Player for later. I'm looking into getting a new laptop in the future or buy an SSD for my current laptop. running win 7 and other oracle virtual box + vm player for windows bears down on this poor laptop. I run a GNS3 instance using Oracle and that alone sucks up 4 CPU's/4GB RAM and lots of disk time.

No idea. I think as long as you have win 7 or win 8.1 it's a free update.

    No it didn't.

I also just found out you can play the Xbox one from your computer. Hook up a controller and use the Xbox app in Windows 10. Work's really good.

Is that a new function in Windows 10? My desktop is the only thing that could run Xbox games at best. I dont have any gaming machines.

I guess so. Never had the app on W7. It's pretty spiffy.

Edit: Found my first issue. SLI isn't supported yet on all video cards...

Anyone using a non-stock keyboard with Android? If so, what are you using?

I was using Ultra Keyboard. Very customizable, and also did the swype thing. It starting causing my phone to come to a crawl though.

Edit: I'm thinking the stock ROM doesn't like me using a 3rd party keyboard.

So found out Centurylink offers Gig via fiber to my house. I can't see the need at all to use that. Most services don't even have 1Gig and I don't ever tap out my 50Mbps w/Cox.
Would any of you go Gig? I used to have centurylink and I had issues with their reliability every now and then. I would have to get the Prism service to get a better pricing. I've been using Netflix, Hulu and my media server for the past year. thoughts?

I would but I work from home a lot and do a lot of heavy uploading.

Still knowing you won't ever run out of bandwidth is a nice feeling.

My contract with cox will be expired soon. I'm thinking of making the switch.

It's that or just go back to Internet only.

My wife and I dumped cox tv and got netflix, Hulu and Amazon prime tv (since we already have a prime account). We love it! We were spending $220 a month on tv, Internet and phone. TV we had two contour boxes and just about all channels. It sucks sometimes not having it, but it's nice on the bank account. We now pay $80 for Internet and phone.

Any recommendations on a good desk top around 1k or under? Not anything crazy and not gaming, just school work and occasional browsing etc...

So get this.... I have a buddy who asked me to sell his new iPhone 6. I posted it on here and got a couple of suggestions to get it unlocked. Today I get ATT to unlock the phone but i needed a non-ATT sim to test it. So i stuck my verizon SIM in the phone and blam, it's unlocked! Score.. Now here is the weird thing, all of a sudden it connects to the Verizon network and I start to receive calls and texts on it! I looked on the box and it says the phone supports, GSM, UMTS and LTE... Is this something new?
