    Solidworks/ edge users/ installers...

Is there any benefit to installing solidworks onto my my SSD or kick it to the mechanical? I'mm under the impression that it utilizes the RAM and not HD for most activity.
    Jes-no :notsure:

@Moose1988 his work installed ssd on their computers a while back or at least they were thinking about it when I left. It's going to utilize page files too, so with a ssd, it's going to be faster. At least that's how I would think it's going to go.

I will check when I get back to work, but Im pretty sure its on the mechanical. At least mine is most likely.. as its running off an older laptop. We also have access to it via our local network.. So I dont know how that plays into it.

SSD is always the way to go for software. I only use my HDD for storage.

My HDD setup is probably faster than my SSD right now.
