Even though you are not maxing out you may have more stuff going on in the background which is taking up IO's like @azgunrunner said. You might just have some software causing all the issues. Performance monitor will give you a better idea of what's going on then task manager. Might want to hook up a second monitor and watch the monitor as you play games/netflix to see whats happening.

Feel free to bring it by sometime and we'll see what's going on. I wouldn't mind checking out that CSGO. ;)

Nope, whatever hooks up to your latop.

Run a speedtest using testmy.net and tell me what the speeds are. Do not use speedtest.net, its bullshit.

Anytime works for me. I'm always home as you know.

Personally I don't have a specific preference on monitors as long as it uses either HDMI or DisplayPort. Like @Aw9d said, it could be things running in the background.. It could be some piece of insignificant hardware.. For example, I bought my system, its a dual CPU, I'm running 16 cores and 32GB of RAM, all SSD drives and a NVIDIA 970ti. By all accounts this system should run like a raped ape...

The system ran great except for when playing some games, my system started to freak out and get stupid laggy. After 4 weeks of looking at apps I installed and shit running in the background and rolling through my registry and finally just rebuilding the system I still had the problem. Turned out to be my stupid mouse. I had a razor mouse that I had on my old system and for all i knew it worked fine on my old system. Put it in the new and it lagged my games and stuff.

Only reason why I even checked the mouse was because I took the PC to a buddy's house to do some testing and it ran like a champ. went home and did the elimination process and about shit a twinkie when I figured it out...

I meant program to monitor the computer. Shouldve been more specific.

I'm using a 32" benq monitor now actually

Interesting. I also had a Razor mouse that I ended up throwing away because in Photoshop it had issue, but not with the rest of the PC. I don't game on PC anymore so never tested it with games.

Open task manager, then go to performance tab, then open resource monitor.

I would start with what come with Windows... go into task manager, then go into the performance tab, then click on resource monitor. That might help you determine what is chewing on your system.. you should be able to see CPU wait times and HD times as well as Memory and network. Running actual perfmon isn't exactly user friendly and if you don't know what the counters do, you're just going to confuse yourself..

Audio drivers man. My MSI GS60 was having some similar issues when I first put win10 on, then MSI finally released the proper drivers for it.

I've got a Galaxy Tab 10.2 that I never use. Might be willing to let it go.

What kinda price you thinking? I'm just gonna be using it to run my OBDII wireless scanner in the truck. Not looking to spend a grip of cash.

Yea, I don't know what it's worth. I was going to use my old Nexus 5 for that as well.

That would be good. I figured you needed a bigger screen to do the old wrap in a plastic bag and set it up in the shower trick.

Have no idea what kinda quality "dragon touch" is but it's gonna sit in the hot truck and probably catch a couple red bull or coffee spills.
