Maybe 5GHz doesn't pass through concrete that well :notsure:

This right here since most the time 5ghz is more short range compared to 2.4ghz which does better at distance most the time

Some routers also have the ability to modify the gain on the antenna. 2.4ghz is insanely overcrowded and you'll see more performance issues because it only has 3 overlapping channels to choose from. Pretty much any medium will cause signal loss but if you can pull 5ghz even if it's a weaker signal, you won't be competing with everyone else who lets 2.4 fly wild in the area. If you're stuck to 2.4, see if your router can disable 802.11b/g (obviously every device will need to use N, and you'll lose lower spectrum speed) but you don't have down-negotiation occurring which causes wifi to "slow-down" to compensate for older or slower devices.

TLDR: use 5ghz, if can't use 5ghz, optimize 2.4 if possibe.

So cause I don’t have the slightest clue, what’s a better network connection for KODI

    SAMBA
    or
    SFTP

I have never used Kodi. If I had to choose one of those it would probably be samba. But you could probably also do nfs.

Depends on what you are trying to do with Kodi. If you're planning on using your service via the internet, I would go the route of SFTP. You'll have a little bit of overhead but it's the best if you want to keep secure remote access for content streaming/access.

It's their whole PM model but it's been called "direct message" since inception. I only really know because twitter is a great way to get companies to respond almost asap when you have a problem. They are super worried about social media presence.

Everyone calls it PM on TW so that's where you might get confused. Especially if you spend more time on TW than any other social media site.

Most of my social media experience is from AIM, ICQ, and forums like this. I have FB and Twitter, but rarely ever use them.
