thats what I have too. Mine would disconnect if the packs werent holding their charge. but since your are new, go through the settings on the xbox itself and do the controller pairing setup again.

Check to see if there is a firmware update as well for the controller.

I know you all want to see more 3d printing stuff.

Printing a magazine release for a RPR, 4 legs for a stand for a PC and a few brackets for keeping cables for a VR setup in a corner being printed.

First prints! Chip clip shark, Xterra cup holder divider and "Ben" the bench test. The xterra cup holder divider was a little too big from the file I downloaded. I scaled it down about 3mm on its x axis and reprinted in neon orange. It looks and works awesome.

    "Ben" scaled up 300%

    VR sensor wall adapters

I absolutely recommend the Ender 3 pro for anybody who is thinking about getting into 3d printing. This thing has been flawless and run awesome!

@Adventurer_Alex resolution looks pretty good! what do you have it set at? are you printing them sparse? the 4 PC legs look it anyway.

might be rethinking my choices now. lol was sold on a couple pthers, but I'm liking how your parts are looking. and no issues so far huh? you said the build platform was around 9 or 10 sq.in. right?

I've only been modifying the wall thickness and fill patter/density in cura. Until today I haven't touched anything else. I'm going to try a couple prints today w/ a modified Z hop, a larger gap between the support material and the print and some different support structures.

You're more than welcome to check it out if you want. Its the 3 pro, 220 x 220 x 250mm print area. We've had it running pretty much continuously since it arrived.

Little bracket I drew up real quick for cable management (V2)

Wall bracket V1, Nintendo switch controller holder and some cable clips being printed now. Hard to get a good pic while its moving! The 8 little clips are the buttons for the controllers.

got ya. I guess each software will have its own settings and options for all that. I'm not familiar with Cura. Does it just use ABS and then a separate Soluble Support material? or is it all one in the same (ABS/PLA?etc)?

I was running these printers that used ABS and PLA.. plus a bath soluble support that was more brittle, and could either be chipped away, or tossed in a chemical bath. depending on the part and features, I would do one or the other.

and right on man. I might take you up on that. I'm curious about that one for sure now.

I'm only printing w/ PLA and TPU when it arrives later. No plans for ABS because I'm running it in the house and don't want to build an enclosure/vent. Cura lets you choose from 10 different materials. It also lets you change the settings menus from "beginner" through "advanced" opening up different settings to be customized. Its open source and free so people have put together all kinds of profiles. I'm just using it stock on advanced and messing with a couple settings at a time.

I'm in Gilbert now so not far from you I don't think. Let me know.

Yep! Fully customizable on the machine its self or it can import settings in the print/from cura or whatever slicer you use.

I'm going to put together a raspberry pi w/ octopi and a web cam in a little while, then I'll be able to monitor it from work and pause/abort prints or change settings if I need to.

I'll have to check Cura out. I was just using Fusion 360. that was the big selling point for me... all in one software. but, if Cura offers all those settings, like I'm used to.. might be worth it.

Might have to come check it out and bring a file or 2 with me for some tests! I can reimburse for material costs. Im in Chandler/Gilbert still so yeah, super close. maybe this weekend or later this week.

I'm using fusion to draw and design stuff, cura "slices" it for the 3d printer, I don't think fusion can do that portion.

It has its own built in 3d management/slicer. I'll dig through it and find it.

Huh didn't know that. I'm using the hobby license, I wonder if it doesn't have it? Either way I'm going to keep designing in 360 but slicing in Cura. Cura has setting specifically for the Ender 3 (and tons of other printers) that help you make sure you're printing inside its limits and customize how it will lay out supports and stuff.

Maybe that was it.. or it might just be an export/stl prep plug in for it. Since I didn't have a 3d printer.. I wasn't able to set up parameters and everything.

Cura does sound nice. Especially if it plays well with the printer. I'll check out Cura for it.

There is an export option, sends it and launches cura from 360, they both work great!

@Aw9d and any other audiophiles here, any suggestions for making the sound system in Teals yaris louder?

The hook is she doesnt like bass :annoyed: (vibrations? Idk) so she doesnt want to put a sub back in it. As it is right now though if she cranks the volume like she does shes going to blow the speakers. Would a couple 6x9's in boxes in the back help make it loud without making it thump? Any suggestions?
