    Ok. No need for specs I remember the setup.

    The best thing to do is tune the amp/hu. If she's going up to 100% volume on the HU and it's distorting badly then the amp's gains are way too high.
    If that doesn't work then you can add 6x9's with boxes. They won't thump much.

    If you want bring it by sometime. I'll hook up my O-Scope to it and tune the HU/Amp. Should take about 30min - 1hr. That way we can max out the amp without distorting the speakers to see what it can do. The guy before it had a nice setup so it should be plenty loud. If that doesn't work we'll come up with plan b.

    well.. first part is printing now on my Ender 3 Pro. I'll have to pick your brain on what you found that works best settings wise, etc. Definitely need to adjust some stuff already. bed temps and or extrusion temps need to be bumped up for sure. getting a lot of lifting and stringing. Running at just the default Draft profile currently through Cura. just wanted to get a part going to make sure everything was working right.

    Ive had a lot of luck printing at the upper end of the PLA's temp range. I always check the box but ive been printing between 210 and 220 for PLA. Also slowing down the print speed on the printer to like %70 at least for the first few layers makes a huge difference.

    I printed this phone stand tonight. Printed in one piece and the joints worked very smoothly as soon as i pulled it off the printer! Very happy with how well its doing "precise" prints.

    Looks like the printer does a pretty good job with details.

    Im currently running it at higher temps, 210.. and I set it for all levels. I up'd the bed temps too, 60-80.. which seemed to help with lifting. I'm also playing with layer heights, cooling, and support parameters. I just choose the Normal Profile and then edit accordingly. I did start a new print before I left this morning, and changed the layer height from the normal .2mm...to .4mm.. That also seemed to help a lot. I think it has been under extruding, which lead to stringy beads and not sticking.. especially on the initial layers. I'll definitely try slowing it down on the first layers. Thanks!

    I adjusted infill too.. to like 60 %. that helps as well.

    Shoot me a PM.. we can just nerd out and share settings and tips there. :thumbsup:

    Been using it for a couple years :D. I play YouTube with Brave when I want to turn the screen off and still listen to music, otherwise I just use the stock YouTube app.

    Progress!!

    @Adventurer_Alex

    Made some more changes in Cura and at the printer itself. Seems to be working much better now. Need to install the smaller nozzles and try some ABS!

    Bringing back these bad boys.... :cool:

    Keeps getting better, just gotta keep tweaking little stuff.

    Supports and infill are very print dependent, same w/ the print pattern. I try to plan around the type of stress the object will get.

    Nice! looks good!

    I want to get this thread to come back, it has potential. Just needs activity.
