    Now we're cookin with gas...

Been dialing in the settings while building parts for my enclosure for the 3D printer. I switched to a glass bed for a true flat and smooth surface. Blue tape is such a cheap, classic and simple adhesion trick.. so I tried it too.. and it works fantastic on the glass bed.

Once I get this enclosure finished and the printer dialed for ABS.. I think it'll be time for 3D parts again!

What glass bed did you go with? I'm thinking of making the change because the pro bed is getting pretty chewed up.

Did you put it right on the heated bed without the magnetic pad? Just held with binder clips right?

got my setup almost wrapped up. needed to make some changes to the pivots, printing those now, then I'll be able to finish installing the front door on the enclosure. Hoping to get some ABS parts dialed in and off it by the end of the weekend.

Hi, just butting in here. As far as glass beds i got this one and its been great.
Parts just pop off once the bed has cooled, not really any cleanup necessary.

I'm actually prepping to run a decent batch of em. just been dialing in the size to make it capture the hood prop as best as possible.

Ive been using this Magigoo 3D print Adhesive, first along with Blue Painters Tape (which is just a solid go to and works on PLA and ABS) and then switch to just glass and the adhesive. its so nice not worrying about the first layer adhesion. works really well!
