I have put in the request for work to be off Thursday and Friday. Maybe I'll drive up after work on Wednesday. I need to put in my rear and front and wire up the ARBs and clearance for 35s by then.

If you are bringing the trailer up already I would say if you have time I don't see why not. If you weren't planning on brining the trailer I don't see that much of a gain?

Yeah. It would be a benefit to setup the tent/campsite and leave it for the 2 days. And available if needed. Long way away if SHTF for any of the AZ guys and it's at home. :notsure:

Just a couple hoops that drop into stake pockets to mount the RTT above the hood of the cargo.

That's why you are a cool dude.

How high would you make the hoops? About the top of your bed walls of the truck? That sounds like it would be quick to whip up.

Yeah It'll be tough to be like "I just rolled my truck, will you cosign my rental truck because I'm not old enough?" Bahahahha. Obviously I dont plan on rolling my truck... But still.

I've got the time off from work so I'm in. Never been to Moab but have wanted to go for years. I see talk about permits for certain areas. I would like to do the white rim trail and top of the world. Will I need any specific permits for these areas? Also what type of fee's will be needed to get into these area's? Trying to get finances ironed out for the trip.

annnnnnnd I'm out. Timing sucks as it is too close to my first anniversary (happy wife, happy life) and I would be better off waiting for a solid rear bumper, full size spare, and new ucas before I try to tackle TOTW and all my other trail goals out there.

White Rim is within Canyonlands National Park and requires Day-Use Permit and/or Overnight Permit plus Park Entry Fee ($25 or Annual Nat'l Parks Pass).

If you want, keep me in the loop with your travel times, looks like we have the same schedule... always more fun to cruise with others.
