Not sure how many of you guys have looked through the new Swaro BTW spotting scope, if you haven't and you're a hunter (esp if you're a cous hunter), you need to go look through them! Wow.. I've looked through a set of big eye systems and these are just as good if not better. At half the weight! Cost is about the same on them, but I'm ordering me a set!

Man I wish I had the money to buy more optics. I really want to change my set up to be more efficient but damn it's a lot of cash. I've heard great things about the BTX.

I hear ya man, good optics are expensive.. The plus side is that you're probably only going to spend it once or twice.. Some of my hunting buddies are still using older pairs of Zeiss and Swaros from like 15-20 years ago. I've upgraded my Swaro 15s a couple of times, but each time I've been able to sell them for a good price and only costed me a few hundo to upgrade to the next pair.

I know this BTX is a game changer for some folks, but that 4K+ price tag is gonna hurt the play fund account. I just wish the BTX came in a straight eye piece. I just have a hard time hovering over the angled eyepiece especially for hunting.

I've been in AZ for three years and have never gone hunting. I need to change that.

I'm still running my 12 or 15 year old Swaro 15's. Is really like to get a set of 10 or 12's on my chest simply for the ease of getting them in and out while hiking. Then have a spotting scope or something like the BTX when it's time to sit and get serious. I have some buddies I hunt with that are guides and they have really perfected the system to be efficient and easy. Gotta pay to play though!!

Hey guys, need a little knowledge here. I haven't hunted since I was a teenager (when my dad handled getting the tags) and I'm getting back into it this year. My question is when I put into the draw online is my credit card charged and then refunded if I don't get drawn or does it only get charged if I get drawn?

The reason I'm asking is id like to start putting in for some of the more "exotic" hunts to build up my points for the future but I can't necessarily afford the charge on my card right now.

You'll get charged to apply for any Game no refund. It'll hit you for Game if you get drawn to hunt the animal.
