Does anyone know what day we can expect to see charges on the card if we got a tag? I keep checking hourly and it’s driving me crazy.

I remember seeing that episode before. I was dying watching them all running around on the rocks 10 yards behind him while he was launching arrows in the other direction. Hahaha

I'm hoping to get one this year. I missed one with a Ruger 10-22 in 2017, but we've got them working the same trails as the bears so it's fairly likely that we may get a 20-40 yard bow shot on one in September. We've also got coyotes, foxes, coons, ringtails and mountain lions that show up sometimes so anything could happen. The foxes and ringtails pretty much only show up at night but you never know. It's gonna be an interesting hunt for sure

Nothing yet for me but don't have high hopes for a deer tag since I have no bonus points

No bonus points for me either. Must have been lucky. Was hoping for the bison hunt but kind of glad I didn’t see a $1000 charge.

Go to Walmart, go to sporting goods counter, request your desired tags, pay an extra $4/tag cuz game and fish refuses to pay Walmart for selling them.

Good point. I just do Walmart because the gas and time to go to g&f office is not worth it for me. It's a good hour drive for me each way.

A few screenshots from yesterday's trail cam run. I'll do more when I get around to it but these are the real highlights

    Screenshot_20190629-150311.jpg Screenshot_20190629-150303.jpg

In the next one you can see a sow in the pic, and her boyfriend is climbing down the rocks in the top right corner of the pic. My buddy named him Kong, we were getting him regularly, but he disappeared about a month ago, this was our first footage of him since then and we were very happy to see him because he's an absolute tank! We can always identify him due to his left ear being badly torn and the scar over his right eyebrow area.Screenshot_20190629-150415.jpg
Kong coming out of the water after soaking for about 5 minutes...Screenshot_20190629-150454.jpg
Broadside view of him walking down the trail after he left the waterScreenshot_20190630-205511.jpg
In this shot you can see the "v" cut in his left earScreenshot_20190630-205554.jpg

I know this is mostly a big game oriented thread, but does anyone hunt small game extensively? Is it worth it here? I’m pretty used to bird and rabbit hunting and have had an itch to walk in the woods.

I think you will find a lot of small game hunters here. You have dove, quail, rabbit, tree squirrel, blue grouse, duck, geese, and pidgeon to name a few. Look into the AZ Small Game Challenge as well. It’s the off season right now for most small game so not a lot of photos being posted.

Anyone on here use a side by side for hunting, like a Polaris or Mule? I’m thinking of getting one want to see people’s experiences with them.
