Good luck on your hunt. I’m up here in 10 now helping my nephew try to tag his first deer. Been a tough hunt so far. The archery elk up here last week was even harder from that some locals have told me.

I haven’t seen many elk up here in 10 over the last 3 days. Even less deer.

Camped on Big Bo ranch for 3 days and after only seeing 4 elk we decided to head north of Williams. Last night my buddy nailed an elk on the run! Didn't get everything back to camp until about 2AM but so worth it. Great camp spot on the ranch and saw more deer than elk! At least we know were the deer are for next week's hunt.

Anyone doing whitetail in 22 this weekend? Have a chance to pick up a tag, but have no info on the unit.

I like it on the ranch and the permit process is all online and straight forward. They have done some serious improvements to the roads and we only saw 4-5 other groups of hunters in a 20 mile radius we were hunting.

You can sign over your tag to someone else to use. AES does it and hands out the hunts to active/nonactive service personnel.

Same, let me know if you want to team up.

also, I’ll text you back later this afternoon.
Someone donated it to a Veteran’s organization since they couldn’t go. Have to go to AZGFD today to have it transferred to me.

Anyone have recommendations for an archery shop? After running in the rat race this last weekend for rifle deer, I’d like to give archery a shot.

I was up in 18b. Managed to shoot one at about 300 yards just before he disappeared in a juniper thicket. Found the blood trail and tracked to to where he made a figure 8 around two junipers. Lost the trail after that. Pretty sure my bullet hit a rib bone and fragmented before penetration. Going back this weekend to see if the vultures can help me find him.

Yes Sir. Moved here in '96.

I have my areas I like to hunt which are also some of the larger hunting units. This means more applications for those units. Coues Deer I like to hunt in a unit that is hard to hunt which causes my drawn frequency to be greater.

Draw odds are going to crap. Don't get draw often anymore for Turkey, and Javelina people are getting second choice regularly.

Too many out of state plates IMHO and every YouTube hunting star has magically draw an AZ tag for just about everything.

Went out chasing some quail yesterday. I should have had more but my shooting was way off. I need to hit up the trap range.
