Big Bo is fucking huge! I spent 3 days on the ranch looking for deer for my nephew's jr hunt (Don't ask me why his dad put him in for 10 for deer).. my experience is that there are a metric shit ton of antelope on the south end of the ranch, saw more elk on the northern side.

In case anyone is interested in getting any optics from Swaro... I'll be placing an order on Monday. Let me know if you need/want anything, it wont be TW pricing but it will well below MAP.

For those of you who drew tags, congrats!! (I secretly hate you :) ) I'm placing another order for some Swaros, so if anyone wants anything swaro or khales, let me know.

I picked up archery since I didn’t get any tags. Better than sitting on my ass all season.

Ok, so opening weekend of Dove season is almost done.... Let's hear how everyone did! Personally, 3 of the 4 spots that I had have been blown out. In the years past, these locations were prety far off the beaten path and I might see 3-4 other rigs out there. This year, its like someone put up a flashing neon sign, in one of my spots, there was a rig every fucking 100 yards. What normally would have taken me a hour to limit out on a bad day took me almost 3 hours. I stopped counting how many times I was peppered or had shot rain down on me.

Glad no one got hurt and everyone was having fun and safe, but holy shit it was nuts out there....

Similar experience for me. Been the only hunter at this spot for the last several years. This year, multiple rigs and terrible shooting. Weird year...

Thanks everyone! First bull, first archery (crossbow).

zero. I was called about two weeks ago and told I was getting the tag transferred to me if I wanted it (disabled Veteran and all that). Guy who surrendered it burned 16 points and I don’t think he had point guard.

Glad he transferred it you and didn't just eat the tag. You made good use of it!

Am I the only one that could give 2 shits about work today? I need to be putting my pack together, getting my decoys stringed up, and testing my waders........ 16 hours before go time!
