    congrats!!

    I’m still up in unit 1 with my nephew on his elk hunt, been tough so far. Warm up here and the elk aren’t in the usual spots I’ve had them in the past... may have to get to higher ground.

    Thanks!! I've heard from a few other hunters that it's been tuff. Between the heat and no rain for monsoon I think it will be a bad year for a lot of hunting. Getting to higher ground wouldn't be a bad idea. Best of luck to y'all!!

    Just got home from a tough hunt. Talked to a few others and they too had a tough time. We finally managed to find a couple herds but they gave us the slip and then another opportunity but rather than making a possible bad shot, my nephew decide on not pulling the trigger. It was fun chasing them around but hopefully next time we’re able to fill his tag.

    No luck in unit 10 for cow elk. Kicked up some the first day and than nothing even after we moved. Saw a couple of bulls but no cows with them. The one bull was missing a good portion of his rack, looked like a good fight. Good luck to anyone who has tags still yet!!!
