Pretty sure it’s still a cap of 10% to non residents. 50% would be a huge jump. Up to 5% of those tags will be drawn in phase 1(max point holders) phase 2 would be your random draw

 

There is only 40 tags for early rifle bull in unit 10. non residents will get allocated 4 tags 2 of those will go to the random part of the draw you would have better luck with the archery hunt

 

Yeah that dude is talking out of his ass I think. There's zero talk of changing the non-resident cap, let alone going to 50% which is unheard of.

My buddy got a unit 8 archery cow. I’ll be helping him on that hunt. Nothing for me, bought points only

Nothing for me 10 elk points and 14 antelope - lol.
I hunt 6a - good bulls all up there .

 

Got an early rifle cow in unit 10! Was really surprised since I didn't have any bonus points for elk. Up to 10 points for antelope now!

 

I was actually hoping for antelope, but ill give elk a try at least

 

Picked up a used Matthews x7 from a friend to try my hand at archery this year. Going to take it the Archery Headquarters and get it setup for me. OTC deer tag this year so I can get some more time in the field.

heading into 9 next weekend to look for some sheds, i might hit 7west while im up there if i find anything ill send you a way point. did you draw late rifle or early archery?
