I have those in the backyard but I've never collected one in the field. I feel they act more like pigeons than doves.

    Stuff.. but not much
My neighbor has three huge bird feeders and I see them all day everyday. Same with the flying rats (pigeons). I've never taken one on the field either.

I just don't have a trigger yet! I have the eurasians all the time in the yard too. Pry be too hot before I can do anything about them- in the field of course.

Have the eurasians in the yard and they also nest in the trees. BUT they do provide year round feeding for the hawks in
the area. The kill/eating site is always obvious sight it looks like a feather bomb went off. I have a picture of the kill
somewhere, I will try to find it.

We have owls and hawks, but the owls are the best. And yes, those are dead rats hang in the branches.

a picture of a totally white eurasian dove and then of a kill by a hawk that was not much bigger
than the dove. He was just starting to eat. Have never even found beaks or claws.thumbnail (9).jpg thumbnail (14).jpg thumbnail (16).jpg

Hooray! We're still waiting, we have 3 applications. And luckily one more pig hunt to take our minds off the draw.

You talking Elk? Results aren't out yet, are you just watching to see if anything hits your credit card? IF I don't get a tag this year I guess I will be going back to Colorado as I cannot imagine missing another year.

From the outline that looks more like a falcon than a hawk.

Looks like I got a tag for elk. Have a LARGE charge on my CC from AZ Game & Fish yesterday. Just got my Tacoma three weeks ago for a hunting truck (perfect for roads/trails where I hunt). Planning on getting it up to speed this summer with a lift, Armor, Rim, Tires, etc, etc. I am not sure if I am more excited about upgrading the truck for hunting or actually going hunting.

My buddy just found out he got an archery elk tag in 3B! He hasn't had a tag in 8yrs so I'm super pumped for him.
Any tips on that area is greatly appreciated! Good luck to everyone who has gotten a tag!

How is the elk population? Colorado's has taken a hit from winter dying in the past few years....
