I did the math on my OT the other day and I got fucked by taxes so bad that I really didnt make more per hour.

Anyways, on another note, I'd be up for shooting this Holiday week/weekend if anyone wants to Freedom it up unless I decide to trek to Sedona or Payson or both.

Got my Maxim and filled out paperwork for the free can! Hopefully a 45 can in the next 10 months to complete my collection!

Looks like we did the same thing with the BOGO deal, Maxim9 and a 45 can. Maxim9 was approved on July 4th of all days.
Except my FFL is 'out of town' for a month. Gets back next week.

Have you looked into new trigger springs for the Maxim? I seem to remember someone makes a kit but forget who. I know I'll want one for that trigger.

How do you like the trigger as well as the gun overall?

You get used to the trigger! I went this afternoon and put 100 rounds through it and thought it was ok! Cleaning this baby is entertaining too! First integral suppressed gun so a learning curve!

Need to find a good spot out here, and start stretching the legs of some of these.

Also bought an Aero AR10 lower because I have problems.:der:

    Need suggestions:
I have $650 worth of Cabelas cards on the way, what should I buy?
Leupold Delta Point red dot for the maxim 9 is $400
Could also get a vortex red dot for $230'ish.
Marlin 45/70 lever action is $699- always wanted to try one but probably wouldn't shoot it to much.
    Kimber revolver -$900'ish.

How are those FN pistols in 9mm w/ threaded barrel?
Or maybe something used from the gun library I may find.

Hoping to combine these cards with a sale or a 10% off day like they used to have on Tuesdays.

    Suggestions?

You could buy me another safe!!!!!
I vote for the FN9 with threaded barrel! I want one but don't need. The Maxim is a sweet shooter without optics so that would be last IMO!

Anybody have a good "advanced" gunsmith they recommend? Need some milling done on my Noveske lower, been meaning to get around to it for years but never hand much of a reason to either.

It's just a little bit of material that needs to be removed off the rear flaring on the magwell to make it take Gen 3 PMAGS, EMAGS and so on. Too much for just some dremel work, and it would need refinishing.

Yeah I haven't done it partially because I haven't shot it in forever and partially because I did just that, only used compatible mags.

In the back of my head though I keep thinking it should be able to take any mag I throw at it...

I need to strip the whole thing back to basics to be perfectly honest- when I got it I was the manager at a gun store and the bloodlust was strong, I threw every stupid meme gadget on it and bought a .300blk upper for it.

I have the same lower but only run Gi type mags but if its the same problem as the HK416 ( Gov full Auto Model) its an easy DIY we run HK 416s at work and I have done the fix to run Pmags its easy to do with a fine hand file and a sharpie take ur time it only takes about 15/20 minus finsh the job with some fine sandpaper

Yeah I could mod all my Pmags but, I have this compulsion about having my kit be able to run 100% in any imaginable scenario.

It's why my go-to glock has very few mods to it, never want to come into a situation where it needs to go "bang" and can't.

Plus it also gives me an excuse to go get it cerakoted maybe... ;)
