Anyone interested in going to the Big Sandy machine gun shoot Saturday?
I'm thinking of following another friend up but am wishy-washy.

    Sighted these in today.
Going to take the JP to 600 later this week.
Went to adjust the JP gas block a few weeks ago since I wanted to run it suppressed and the adjustment screw was eff'd. Sent it in and they upgraded to their newer detent style gas block and added a couple weights to the SCS.
It shoots considerably softer than the other rifle pictured.
Target shows left group adjusting the scope with new muzzle device and can, right group is after sighting in.

Took the LT260 to 1000 yards today. Used the Bullseye cam as a spotter.
Set up a large piece of cardboard behind the target to be able to see where I may miss the torso sized steel target.
Ammo was once fired starline brass reloads with 130's. I ment to bring new starline brass reloads but forgot them.

Had issues with the cam app. Could not adjust the photo to only show the target. There is a setting in there that should allow you to drag the edges of what's in the camera view to only show the target. Could not get that part to work. I may have had a better picture if I could have centered up the cam view. The screen shots below are cropped versions.I also could not get the 'save picture to camera roll' function to work. Whenever I tried it just crashed the app. Ended up taking a screen shot then cropping out the background.
From previous experience of not being able to get the cam to connect at 1K I set the camera on a table near teh target to get it up off the ground and, in theory, a better signal back to me. I then placed the range extender box on the roof of my truck.

The 1st 10 rounds either completely missed or just couldn't be seen on the bullet cam.

Rounds 11-20 I got 6 hits. 3 of these, rounds 5,8,9, Myself or the app could not tell where they hit so I just placed markers in the lower left corner to keep track. 5 hits is pretty decent! Dunno what happened with round 6 way out in right field.

    Rounds 21-30 I got 9 out of 10 on steel icon_smile_big_2c8e93b3286ece0adf6be24dc0a5882f6114447e.gif

    Nice!

I have often wondered about the magic of the 260.

Any of the .264 calibers (6.5 creedomore, 260 Rem, Grendel) have high BC's which make them pretty wind resistant along with other benefits.

Can bring the bullseye cam. There is a 'sight in' feature that should tell you what to dial. I've never used that feature of it though.
