I finished off my first 8 pound jug of H4350 today which I use for .260.
If I calculated correctly at 41.5gr each load that's almost 1350 rounds. Probably less since this jug was used for load development.

About .60 per round if I use the case 10 times (which I haven't yet)

    Kick ass!

The the family got me everything I needed to build a QD lower!

After building a bunch of toys for the kiddos I went into the garage and returned with a built lower! Attached a 16” BCM upper that I had already and we are in business!

Btw - the QD billet lower is quality!

It went together like butter, no smacking or hammering. A really nice touch was the threaded insert for the bolt catch lever, would recommend!

And the boss was really impressed with the sales staff as this was her first experience .

Keeping the .260. Grendel will be somewhat of a mini-me version although the scope mount won't be FDE color.

You should order their UU kit in 260!

They are nice! You can also thread the rear take down pin detent hole and add in a small set screw to keep that spring in there. I do it to all of mine. Will need to cut 3 rings off the spring.

Installed a trigger kit in a Ruger MK4. Went from 4.5 to 1.8 pounds and was able to adjust almost all over travel and reset out of it.
    What a difference.
    Test fire tomorrow.

Anything going on this weekend peeps? Got a fresh kimber I am thinking of shooting. I was at Scottsdale Gun Club last night and parked next to a black third gen 4runner with a front plate bumper and the license plate "hey duke" I think. Curious if he was on here.

Just seeing if you had anything you felt like shooting. Do you go to any certain ranges?

I go to the desert over here on the West side.

Last night I was able to remove a gas block with help from a friend. One of the set screws was stripped. Plan on adding an adjustable block then need to dial it in.
Can always do that next week.

Nothing specific to shoot but I can always find something.

Sounds like a fun weapon you are talking about. Man I’m down to try out the dez sometime for some rounds. Having just moved from the east, I forget that shooting outside is an option.

    Rifle is a Larue 5.56.
I have not shot indoors since before I moved to AZ.

Ah I have always wanted to check out a larue as they had some beefy uppers and lowers.

Decided to comb through the thread a little bit and wow Mike, didn't realize you got it all man! Those distance shots are pretty rad. How far are you from Scottsdale?
