Anyone hit up sunrise lately? I'll be up there tuesday and wednesday just wondering what the conditions were looking like

 

Was anyone out at snow bowl today?

 

Actually I was up there but not to ski or anything just to get some snow in.

 

Conditions are sunny! No recent snow. Later in the day tends to be turning to slush. Another storm is coming in next monday.

Snow in the forcast tonight thru tuesday night up here at sunrise. I will be going up on Wednesday if anyone wants to go.

 

i just got my snowboard and gear in the mail. im going to hit mt lemmon this weekend (better than nothing) then sometime in Feb take a thursday and friday off and go up to Show Low, i keep hearing that its awesome

 

Its better up here than snowbowl! Im going riding tomorrow. Let me know when you are coming up i will head up boarding to. And can offer up a place to stay if you dont have one.

Anyone know where to get good deals on lift tickets?

 

I went up there years ago and found a place in the airport that had discounted tickets, not sure if its still there though. Also check craigslist up there, there are a lot of locals looking to sell. Lastly park city use to accept your plane ticket for a free lift ticket the day of arriving

 

I know its a long shot but i was wondering if any one is coming up to hit sunrise tomorrow? We have been gettin a storm all weekend with allot of the snow dropping today and suppose to clear out late tonight. With blue skies and about 30 degrees tomorrow . So its going to be one of those days that come like twice a season. Plus its tuesday so no one will be there! Im going by myself so let me know.

 

I went to Sunrise today. I had a great time. Weather was great until noon today and then the snow came down pretty hard.

Sunrise wasn't busy today. No lines at the lifts.



The drive back was a whiteout in Pinetop and it snowed most of the way to Globe and then off/on rain.

I get my lift tickets on there some times. There's usually some good deals, unless you're lodging at the lift lodge, then they usually give you 50% off

 

I soooo wish I could.....I'm off work for 10 days (funeral this weekend) but have lots of driving this weekend and need to save my $$

 

Yeah i understand that. Its a nice day up here. I have some pics i will load when i get home. I stopped by pinetop brewery the other day they were not open yet. How was it?

Then on my way home. It wasnt there in the morning. I dont mean to laugh at someones miss fortune nut its funny to me to see the roads are dry and he went off the road. I know its not what happened

 

It was good. I tried stopping by there 2 weeks ago, but they were closed for renovations. They had 4 beers on tap. I had the porter it was delicious. I also had the sunrise ale and was surprised it had over 8% alcohol.
