AZ Tacoma campout. Feb 24th-25th, 2018.

If we do a 4x4 trail I vote for the gate keeper that we stop at!! Alamo Springs.

Forreal, justgot too late. It’s kinda far for the Phoenix homies though. Maybe we could do that as a small Tucson group.

 

if anything they can come from the back side of redington!! but Charlo will be about the same distance. We could do Tucson wash in mammoth but that gets boring fast as it just a wash! We could go to phoenix and do butchers jones!! that gets sketchy after cove 2 and we can camp right on the lake!

 

I’m not familiar with any Phoenix trails, thts why I’m asking for opinions but I’m down for almost anything. Just wanna make it easy for everyone.

 

Googles a great tool for trail find and information lol!! but there's box canyon which has a nice water fall to climb at the end and a middle section with rocks to climb.

Woodpecker trail/ajax mine,
elvis trail, jack handle, and once again box canyon. some hard some medium a few easy!

 

I’ve always wanted to do box canyon...

 

I’m inclined to say let’s hit box canyon. It’s not crazy far from Tucson and looks pretty fun.

 

Make it happen captain all you gotta do is plan it people will come!

But honestly I'm down for any of the trails I just listed! Make sure to check out the trail online first cause some are hard AF. Hackberry would be a shit show if we had a bunch of trucks its not easy at all.

 

I’m down for box canyon but it looks like state trust land and I’m not sure about camping status. Will research a little more today

 

We've camped at box canyon quite a few times. Also my son's birthday is that weekend and we usually go to box canyon to camp and party. The tradition is to blow up a birthday cake with tannerite.

From the State Land Trust Terms & Conditions:

1. Recreational camping is limited to no more than 14 days per year. A campsite must be at least ¼ mile from any livestock or wildlife water catchments, tanks, drinkers, etc. Abandoned campsites are to be left clean.

 

Have a wedding to attend the 24th, but possibly can cruise out early the 25th depending on how late y’all will be it that day
