It's a good idea for sure! I'd clutter up my back fenders with stickers! Maybe keeping them small would be a good idea? :)

For moderate down here it's Chiva Falls, Chimney Rock, Rice Peak, Charouleau Gap and Rug Road (I'd say Rug Road is a "moderate", as it can be done with relatively mild mods).

The only difficult trail I can think of is Upper and Lower Mansfield down by Patagonia. I haven't ran it but from what I've heard it's on the high moderate-high difficult scale.

There's a ton of easy-moderates down here as well, Total Wreck, Gardner Canyon, Montezuma pass, Tucson Wash.

If I am putting stickers on my truck I'm gonna want them all to match for a color scheme

    Another very valid point.

So if we move ahead we make the color of the owners choosing.

A smaller font so you can fit them on a pillar or wherever

Are the things just the printed name, or an outline/map of the actual trail?

My stickers go on the tranny skid, so no one can see them.

The ones from Silverton and Ouray are just slightly larger than one if this smashed souvenir penny's. They have they trail name and summit elevation on them. Kinda cool but again the alpine loop is a well recognized trail similar to Moab.

    I could go either way.

Just a bunch of old crap
My friends and I had an idea for making trail stickers, too, but using a different ID system. We thought about making those white oval stickers with the black border, like the runners do to show if they ran a marathon, Ironman, etc. We thought about putting the FS# on the sticker, like 393 for Log Corral, once completed.

Maybe this could be in conjunction with decals for specific trail sections. You get the FS# sticker when you complete the entire trail.

I like the idea a great deal but getting everyone together on design and color is going to be a mess.

Not sure I want to take on a project like this anymore though.
