    Im so damn excited! Gonna do a precheck on the truck tonight and load a few goodies. Recovery gear is always aboard as well as a small set of tools (which we shouldn't need)!
    Bring your snacks, puddling packs, and drinks will shoot for lunch At Devils Chasm. After that is open for discussion on trial, Gonna be a great day exploring!

    I'd like to go. But I only have this weekend to prepare. Next weekend is up at the cabin to replace the water heater and start sanding the decks. Also start working on the septic tank.

    The boy's are more than welcome to come help lol

    What's the go to camp meal out here? I'm used to cooking over a camp fire back in Ohio. I'm going to have to adjust to cooking over gas I guess.

    We still do Hobo meals on the fire! The only problem with camp fires is whether or not there is any fire restrictions in the area. Even No burn days fall on the weekends, and Rangers will bust ya.
    I tend to follow the rules in the desert, wild fires here Burn fast and just north of us has finally healed a bit from the last one. I bring a propane fire pit with me just for that reason. easy on and easy off without the smoke, just not very big.

    Got it, yeah that's going to take getting used to. I don't think you could start a wildfire in Ohio if you tried.
    I've got a little propane firebox for ambiance and a little heat anticipating the fire bans.
