yeah thats really the biggest decision you have to make and really ask yourself.. what your intentions are. I knew I didnt want it super tall.. I was expecting to take it off when not in use.. but i fell in love with having it on all the time... plus it motivates us to go camping more since its just.. there. lol

Like I said we havent used the annex yet so no issues with headroom.. yet.

Parts are stacking up! Spindle gussets are on the way, along with some odds and ends.

Thanks man! I appreciate the support. I'm new to Tacomas and learning as I go. Guys like @Shmellmopwho @Moose1988 @snowtank and a handful of others have been super helpful. Follow their builds too. They are far better than mine!!

Me too!! Haha. DeMello was supposed to have received a big shipment of stuff from Icon today so I'm hoping my shocks are in.

Ordered the TC Spindle gussets a couple days ago. I've got @snowtank Andrew making me some bed bars and I ordered a set of Cooper ST MAXX today in 255/85/16.

Took me a long time to decide between the ST MAXX, Toyo Open Country or Duratracs. In the end I went with price and the fact that I know the others will have more rubbing issues than the ST MAXX.

I think my install day may turn into an install week!

Bed bars should be done tonight. Paint tomorrow. Would have been done yesterday but I grabbed the wrong steel for the feet.

Picked up the new tires today and my 60" Hi Lift and base were delivered also. 20160202_085456.jpg

Quick question for you guys with lifts and no sliders. What are you using to jack up the truck for tire changes? I know my stock jack won't be enough but with no sliders yet there's no real solid points for the HI Lift.

I'll have to look into that cause I probably won't have sliders any time soon. Thanks man.

No worries. Could also get a floorjack with a skid. Use it for the garage too. Two birds kinda deal.

Decided to tackle a couple things today. Did the diff breather mod. Pretty straight forward. Routed it along the frame and up behind the driver side tail light. Just need to grab a clamp to secure it in place.

Also finally got started on the Satoshi. Took a whIle to get it figured out but it's getting there. All prepped and ready for epoxy tomorrow.

Oh and I almost forgot about this gem. I've had this old antique bottle opener in a drawer for almost 10 years. Always figured I would put it somewhere so I hung onto it. Today it found a new home.
