Work truck. Off duty detail sitting in construction zones with the lights on. Easiest money I'll ever make.

I haven't sat in the other truck in a week! Lol. Been too damn busy with work.

This particular job is up in cottonwood wood. Have another one in a couple weeks up in Sedona. We rarely get the local jobs. DPS usually swipes them up.

Shoot me some names and I'll see what I can do!! Haha.

So I decided to skip the Ultra Gauge and picked up this.

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01C6...1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=obd2

I downloaded the Torque app and started messing around with it. Can't figure out why my speedometer is so far off. App shows 42 when I'm doing 20 and 110 when I'm doing 60!! I figured it would be off some because of the bigger tires but not like this.

Also my traction control light has been on since I drove home with my alignment jacked after I did the lift. Figured it would have thrown a code but the reader says no current or stored codes. Tried using the reset function on the app and the light is still on. I even disconnected the battery and the light is still on.

Something I'm doing wrong that's so obvious I look right past it?

take it into the dealer to have them recalibrate the traction control/vsc and that should take care of that.

the Torque thing.. hmmm.. idk. either a setting in there somewhere or how you did your vehicle profile?

you order those switches yet? :D

Switch came in about an hour ago. It's sick but the actual button is small. Nor sure they make them any bigger though. I'll have that stuff on its way to you later today.

I'll keep messing with the app. There's a ton of shit on there. Lol.

So I decided to do some reading up on the VSC issue to see if maybe I could re calibrate it myself. Found out a ton of people having issues after installing a lift. I haven't had any of the forced braking issues but my light stays on and it does drive funny. I had no idea the VSC system was such an issue.

In true TW fashion I'm sure I'll spend a few hours researching it before I give my money to the stealer ship.

    Abs killswitch mod

You'll never have to deal with it again... And most likely forget about it. Lol

Was one of the first mods I ever did, and its it's still one of my factories.

Yeah I don't know man. ABS has saved my ass a couple times over the years and I'm not sure I want to bypass that.

I'm wondering if the VSC has anything to do with the truck driving funny. It's hard to explain but I constantly feel like the truck just wanders wherever it wants to. Alignment is good. Maybe I'm just not used to the sway bar being removed?? Also sounds funny when going through turns. Kind of similar to rubbing or bad brake pads but I've double checked. I don't rub and my pads are probably still 75%.

I don't get the beeping and forced braking at all. I just have the VSC light on. These things may have nothing to do with the VSC system at all and could just be byproducts of having the lift. I don't know yet.

Understandable. For me.. It would kick on in even the most calm of driving maneuvers. Turning out of driveways, trying to make I turns, etc. Now its selectable. And in numerous instances the abs has almost caused me not be able to stop in time in some scenarios.

The other things about wandering, etc.. Could just be not being used to no swaybar.. A lifted vehicle.. Not perfect alignment. Etc. Might all just be placebo too. Lol.

Have you retorqued everything since install? Especially the lowers after the alignment?

Everything but the lowers has been re torqued. I'll double check those today.

I'm guessing most of the wandering is simply the sway bar and not being used to it. I'm half tempted to throw it back on real quick and see what the difference feels like.

Which method did you use for the ABS kill switch? Seems like there's several.

Lowers have always been the cause of my weird feelings in my steering or suspension. Just have to reeeally torque down on those lower cam bolts.

I did just the ground wire with a simple toggle switch method. Lol tap into it and add your switch. Turns your lights on but I like it because it's a good indicator when its activated.

Impromptu rim road run today. Tried to find some mud but the rain surprisingly stayed below the rim.
