A few observations from yesterday's quick trip.

1-Icon's are so friggin smooth at higher speeds. Pretty stiff at normal off road speeds but nothing unbearable.

2-drifting on dirt roads with no sway bar is fun as hell but will make the butt pucker! Haha

3-this was my first highway trip since installing the lift and ST Maxx tires. My truck is now officially gutless. I obviously knew I would lose power and MPG but damn going up the hill out of vamp verde on the 260 sucked ass. I was constantly in the 4000 RPM range and downshifting like a tweeker. I can't even imagine what it will be like when I take my boat to Rosey. Haven't figured my MPG yet for the trip but I'm barely at a quarter tank on only 226 miles. Looks like rotopax fuel containers are in my very near future.

4-still loving the clearance I got from the lift. I took this truck a lot of places most wouldn't dare to take even when it was stock. Now I feel like I can finally take some of those trips I've been wanting to take forever. The plan is finally coming together!!!

Great truck man will sub on this one! You got me settled on some Dakar's and Icon for my prerunner setup. Now if i can ask for the rear icons what are the measurements for travel, were they Shock Specifications:- Collapsed: 15.9"- Extended: 26.5" - Travel: 10.6" or completely different?

Thanks man! This thread doesn't get a whole lot of interest so I appreciate that. The rears are custom built to pair with the Dakars and from what I was told it is 16/26.

The front has finally settled in so I have a bit more rake now but nothing major. Let me know if you have any other questions. I'm no expert but I'll answer the best I can.

Lol. I plan on it. I need to take it back to the alignment guy and have him center the wheel better. It sits to far to the rear the way it is now. No rubbing as of now but once I start scouting and hitting some of the nasty roads I forsee an issue when I really start compressing those bitches.

So Adam @Box Rocket got a little creative to convince me the orange won't look so bad on my truck. It doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. Slimy sales tactics!! Haha.

Yeah I'm not waiting any more. I don't trust that they will be available end of May and my June CO trip is basically planned around the flexibility of having the tent. Also, I did a bunch of research and talked to several Tepui owners and I believe the Tepui is a better product. The only thing I don't get compared to the Summit is USB and lighting.

I think the tepui is a better product than the average cvt. But the summit is better than the average tepui. Ladders are the same thing tho. And I would have backed out if I were you aswell. Especially for the trip you got planned
