Because of what Eric said before me...

You have a custom built-by-hand diff skid that is beef as hell... These are not "cookie cutter built".
As with any custom made product you should expect some adjustment.

Once mine was test fit it looked like it was meant to be there all along, which is exactly what I wanted.

I had to stick one of the arms in a vice and 'adjust' it to fit properly, typical with hand made/welded-nice quality overall

 

I havent recieved mine yet to compare although looking at your picture that right post looks like it was welded on crooked (not square with the other post). Somebody mentioned in a previous post that the weld may have shifted the post (refered to as weld suck)- this could be very well possible in this case and Jerry may have missed it-oversights happen. Jerry's work is really really on the spot so he will remedy the issue.

 

On mine, it looked more like the posts were straight, but one of the threaded inserts was threaded crooked...

 

Box is in the garage! Don't know when I'll have time to unpack it though.

 

yeah this was discussed a few pages back. a few of the skids dont line up just right but i think all you have to do is thread both in pretty much at the same time. little by little.
jerrys out getting wasted on a cruise so he cant help for a few days.

 

Mine has a gap like that as well, I was able to get it threaded in though.

PM replied sorry guys I've been in Cabo for the last week. I test fitted all 6 I shipped before I went on my cruise and everyone worked. Also in the picture that clamp is backwards. As said in other posts the steel cools and they move a little if they don't align after cooling I hit them with a BFH and it fits just fine. I didn't hit any of the ones I shipped before I left because all threaded on right before shipping.

 

Jerry how are the next five skids looking
