    Hey Jerry,

Was wondering if you're making bolt-on sliders for a 2014 Tacoma 4x4 Regular Cab these days?

Quick question for people with the BAMF bolt on sliders on a 2nd gen Tacoma:

How much clearance is there between the door and and the slider when the doors are open? I recently installed another brand's bolt on sliders onto a friend's 3rd gen and was surprised at how low they mounted on the frame, leaving a large gap under the door and reducing ground clearance. On my 4Runner I notched the pinch weld before welding the sliders on and only left about 1/2" gap under the door, this has worked out really well. I'm now looking for sliders for my Taco.

I'm hoping that the BAMF bolt on sliders mount much higher than the "other brand" sliders, but it is hard to tell from pictures. Hopefully someone can measure or take a quick picture.

    Thanks!

Our legs are about 7/8th from the pinch weld on our bolt on sliders. Weld on you set that gap.

Thanks Jerry, it sounds like they mount higher than the "other brand" sliders I saw. Do you know how much clearance there is between the slider and the door when the door is open? I'm trying to decide if I want to go weld-on again and put them about 1/2" - 3/4" under the doors for ground clearance, or if the bolt on ones are already close enough to the door.

Our kick out is about .75" from the door when open on our 20 degree sliders.

Perfect, thanks! Sounds like your standard bolt-on sliders for a DCSB are perfect for my use.

Jerry, do you do custom leg lengths? You had mentioned that they stick out about 15" from frame without kickout. I was wondering if you could do a shorter legs and make it more like 13-14?
    Thanks

No, sorry we don't do custom modifications. Only the options on our site.
