I prefer the look of the 2nd gens than the 3rd gens (might be bias). But I do like the blackout B-pillars on the 3rd gens. So I decided to give that look a go. Did it with Plastidip so if I don’t like it, no harm. What do you guys think?

You liking it is all that matters.

It may be the angle, but in the 2nd pic, it looks like it needs to come lower to line up with the window mouldings

It looks nice. I think it makes the truck look longer. I perhaps agree with the previous on a fine adjustment to the top and the bottom to level it and make a straight line, but I'm not sure I would undo the job already there to do it.

I think a little lower on the bottom, and a little higher on the top.

Well it’s Plastidip. So I can’t imagine it will be hard to add to it.

Very clean! Thank you for the reference photos of yours. I’ll try to fix later.

Very nice of you to add that reference with actual photos! This is one of the little things that make this forum such a good place. What year is this truck? Now you [OP] can do an OEM factory match if you want. My truck is white and I have been thinking of doing this little mod as well and after seeing these pics I would match it to factory instead of a straight line.

I'm really OCD about factory/OEM stuff. It's a "club": (i.e.: "sickness") Can't help it.
