I was thinking how it would age over the years and I'm contemplating removing it.
If you removed it, do you regret it?

Removed mine because of the misalignment. It looked like a cross-eyed hobo installed it and I don't regret it. I can always get it put back on but probably won't.

I like the look of it but fear the sun out my way will destroy it quickly, and then when I peel it off the paint underneath will mismatch. Truck kinda goes Gen2 without the vinyl.

07-up Tundras have same B pillar vinyl and are still holding up. That's 10 years.

Pick and peel w/ a hairdryer to help. Adhesive remover for any glue left on the paint.

I removed mine months ago and I wouldn't have it any other way. All paint looks much better to me than vinyl stickers.

I was going to remove mine but I opened my door one day and a tree branch hit the door and it took a chip out of the vinyl but didnt damage the paint. Glad I didnt take it off. I like the look without it but the protection is nice.

FYI: Last summer my kids got a big old handprint of sunscreen on the vinyl. It instantly discolored it and remains to this day. I tried cleaning it with vinyl cleaner, 303, soap, back to black, nothing worked.

Removed mine pretty soon after I got the truck, along with all the other stickers and badges. I think it turned out pretty well myself.

IMG_0258.jpg No regret at all!!! You are correct.........after time it will fade, scratch and just not look as good as paint. Go for it, very easy to remove.

I love the protection it adds. I figure if it ever fades or discolors, I will get new vinyl put in its place.
Heck, I would love to do vinyl around all the door handles. My wife's rings have done a number on her car and I don't want that to happen to mine.
