    Hi,
Can anyone provide some advice. I just bought a used 2010 Toyota Tundra. The back window does not work. When I press the button by the steering wheel there is no sound. I believe I checked the correct fuse and it appears in-tact. Any ideas on how to fix? Or anyone else who had a window just stop working?
The friend I bought it from said it had always worked as far as he knew, but, he did not use it much.

    Thanks! Anissa

Picture of button? I thought all Tacomas had manual opening rear windows.

Edit: unless you're talking about a rear door window, then nevermind

No rear power sliding glass in tacomas. Unless you mod it.

If you are referring to a REAR SIDE WINDOW not working, make sure that the smal square window LOCK button is not pressed in as a first step. All the windows except the driver will not respond to the window switches if that lock is on.

Thank you. The window lock is not on. I will try to add a picture of the button, it is just below the steering on the right. Thinking it may be the motor - but I hear no sound when I press the button? Probably have to take the seats down and look at the motor?

Are you referring to the back window facing backwards?

There is NO rear power sliding mirror in any Tacoma unless someone modified and added it. You need to add a photo of the button, so we see what you're talking about.

This. No power sliding rear window unless it’s a mod.

Here is a copy of the button that would open the very back window. Thanks.

That’s aftermarket. Are there any wires actually going to that button?

My guess is the motor died. Gonna have to open up the back and troubleshoot it.

Sorry everyone, I don't know why I typed Tacoma. Talking about a 2010 Tundra here. Thanks.

Your original post says “Tundra” it was just mis read and since this is Tacoma World everyone thought it was a Tacoma. Check all the fuses in case you checked the wrong one. Good luck.

It originally said "Tacoma", because I double checked that myself when I replied. I had a feeling the model was wrong.
