    I see, im starting to worry about mine now. I finally got to flex it today a few times. noisy as all hell, but I was just creepin. no sudden impacts. that's why I was so confused on the op's problem but now that I think about it, flying over a speed bump or something could extend a shock pretty rapidly. . . . enough for a bang.

    I just noticed the other day that ome's shock in a comparable length to 5100 is shorter collapsed and longer at full extension. maybe these should be on order

    Your stock rears are about 22.75 inches long extended, 5100's will be the same unless you specifically order the extended version. I run sky jacker H7045 rear shocks that are 24.75 long, they're great and only cost me about $75 with taxes in ontario. I also posted a detailed procomp listing somewhere as they have a shock that is a bit longer again and similarly priced.. Ppl here are hooked on he billies and ome shocks, i am not as they are shorter and pricier. I wheel my truck and the shcoks are doing well
