    Hey guys and gals,

Well, after a 3 year stint in a Tundra I am back in a Tacoma! I finally realized the error of my ways and repented my sin (sold the Tundra).

I'm no newbie to Tacoma's, I had a 98 extended cab 4x4. I put 183k miles on it with no problems (even had the original clutch still in it).

Now I have a great truck... 2009 PreRunner Dbl Cab, long bed! So glad to be back in a Tacoma. I was a member of TTORA when I lived in NorCal and love working on the trucks. Hit me up if you are in the area and need help with your truck!

    See you on the road!
    Keith

I have also gone back to a Tacoma. I bought a 2008 DC Off-Road in July of 2008 and drove it for nearly 2 years before I traded it on May 1st of this year on a Slate Metallic Tundra Crewmax 4x4 with the 5.7. The Tundra was nice and had numerous options like sonar, monroof, etc. I thought I would really grow to like the Tundra more but I could no longer fool myself. The more I drove the Tundra; the more I wanted a Tacoma again. I sold the Tundra outright about a month ago and started searching for a Tacoma. I bought a SR5 DC LB with JBL audio in Silver sky metallic this past weekend. I drove from Phoenix, AZ to Cathedral City, CA to get it and I loved the drive home. You don't know how much you'll miss something until it's gone, and I was missing the Tacoma BAD! Welcome back!

Missing My Last Tacoma --- Had 11 Toyota trucks in the past and many other Toyota cars too.
    .

    I went from a ... 2000 Tundra ... to 2004 Tacoma ... to 2007 Tundra ... and back to a 2009 Tacoma.

Tried a couple of Nissans too (2004 Titan & 2006 Frontier) and IMO the Tacoma is the best fit for my needs.

I do miss the power of the 5.7 and would love to have the 4.6 as an engine option coupled to a 6 speed automatic in the Taco.

Wow I am surprized at the need to get out of a Tundra-are they that bad?
