DAMNIT. I hate ridin the 4 wheeler through the woods or walkin to my deer stand and a web gets all over my face. I immediately assume theres 50 black widows crawling all over me and flip the hell out. I get goose bumps thinkin about it.

Dam! I've been stung a few times by them, and nothing like that happened. My little brother was stung 7 times in the neck by one (we were trying to catch them at the time), and all it did was hurt like hell for a while. Maybe us Arizonans are immune? :D

Anyone been to Iraq and seen any Camel Spiders?
Saw one as big as my hand! I screamed like a little girl!
Not actually a spider, but close enough!

Solifugae are carnivorous or omnivorous, with most species feeding on termites, darkling beetles, and other small arthropods, although Solifugae have been videotaped consuming larger prey such as lizards. Prey is located with the pedipalps and killed and cut into pieces by the chelicerae. The prey is then liquefied and the liquid ingested through the pharynx. Although they do not normally attack humans, these chelicerae can penetrate human skin, and painful bites have been reported.[2]

Yeah, they run around on 8 legs and have those 2 in the front up while they are running, so they look like some kind of demon spawn.
Imagine waking up with one of those on your chest... not a pleasant experience.

So you are saying you don't like spiders?? Cute, little friendly bugs that eat flies and camp in the corner of the bedroom behind the open door.
