    In the market for a Tacoma, currently an 04 Tundra
    So Im new here! And I wanted to take a min to introduce myself as well as ask for some help.

    We are LONG time Toyota owners. My wife has had a 1998 Land Cruiser, 2004 4Runner (v8, RIP), 2012 Sienna, and now her baby a 2018 4Runner. We are building up the 4Runner for family excursions and long getaways.

    I am curently driving an 04 Tundra with just over 256k on it. So she's just getting broken in engine wise! Except for the fact that everything on the under side is rusting/rusted out.

    I just took a new position that will require me to drive a bit more, and I am looking for something I can mod and have some fun with. So I am moving into a Tacoma as soon as possible. I want something 2016 and newer as this will likely be the truck my son learns to drive on in 3 years.

    Trying to decide between a TRD Off-Road or a TRD Sport. Plans are to lift is slightly (3 inches) and upgrade rims/tires. Any suggestions right off the top on which route to go?

    Really looking forward to pouring through the forum to get ideas, but am thankful for any direct ideas from the members.
