want to know bulb size as well. I replaced the HVAC bulbs a while ago with Led but I forgot the size. Might have been #74...

My fog light and locker switch are illuminated with lights on. I wish the mirror controls and 4x4 were. Toyota let the simple stuff like this slide on Tacomas. Just like bed lights.

I bought some neowedges off ebay about a year or so ago and they are still going. Trick is to find some with a low enough profile. I originally bought some off Superbrighleds and they were too long, which means you can't push the switch cause it makes contact.

I'll post the eBay link in a sec.

edit: they are T3s on my 2013. "Should" be the same for other 2nd gen years.

link so if you want to buy elsewhere you know what you are looking for.

    2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport
I have a 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport. I just noticed that the switch for the power outlet does not illuminate with the dash lights. There are two LED indicators on the switch (100 watt and 400 watt) the will illuminate respectively when the inverter is on. Other than that, I can't see the actual switch in the dark. Is this normal, or do I need to replace a bulb?

Mine light up. The bulbs behind them have pretty weak filaments. I suggest upgrading to LED bulbs. I will be upgrading to them soon.

My 08 tacoma has no backlighting on upper left side of dash nor does the H2/H4 knob ... I dont understand why considering it seems to be set up to be backlit. It certainly would be more convenient and the dash would look sharper at night. I guess the toyota powers that be didnt think it necessary when going from 1st to 2nd gen.
