Of course the folks here that answered the earlier post are correct: The blower plastic connector DOES show heat damage. Not too bad but definitely evident. So, cleaned the contacts as best possible, re-connect, and system works. For how long...... ? I would like to remove that contact and replace or clean it better. I actually do have the Toyota wire manual, which does attempt to explain contact removal. I guess I'm just stupid as I don't see how with this part.
Can anyone tell me how the remove the contact from the plastic connector in the photo?

Look at both connectors on the motor. I'd be willing to bet one or both of them are burned.

If they have burn marks you need to replace the connector plugs.

    Part number 90980-10916 Connector

Part Number 82998-12380 Wire and terminal

Not sold as a kit, sold as each. So you will need one of the plugs and two of the terminal and wires.
