its big enough for 2 car seats, or 2 boosters 1 carseat.
3 carseats I dont think is possible or extremely difficult.

you will have to shop and buy the right carseats however. not all will fit.

theres a car seat thread here somewhere.

If we need 3 carseats its going to be because we had triplets. I like my odds.

3 car seats is super hard from what ive seen. I dont think 3 rear would fit. if you have triplets you probably got other problems though.

I have 2 graco slimfits and a third would just not fit. eyeballing it

Haha well my commute is going 60-65mph on mostly flat or slight hills. So with the manual I'm hoping to get low 20s. And you hit the nail on the head about the ecoboost; better mpg.... but Ford. I'll take a slight mpg drop to avoid the Detroit 3. Used to be a Chevy man until my 2016 Colorado turned out to be a lemon. Thanks for the post!

Eh I started a thread a couple weeks ago about the 3rd gen manual mpg and its conflicting to say the least lol. I've seen anywhere from 18-24mpg from several people so I'm gonna hope for 20ish and anything more will be a bonus lol. I'm in South Mississippi so I'm not at any altitude and I think a lot of people on here are more towards the mountains where anything naturally aspirated gets COPD uo them hills

In my 6mt with stock tires i get 21mpg driving the limit. One size up winter tires gets me 19 mpg... not terrible enough for me to go to the detroit 3 for a couple extra mpg

I appreciate the input! I realize it's a truck first and asking upper 20s is unrealistic, but low 20s in a modern truck at moderate speed shouldn't be unattainable. My '16 Colorado 4 banger with 6 speed got 30mpg on my commute. But, electronics took a crap on me and heater was broke by 15k miles. Willing to take a hit to mpg for a shiftable, 4 door toyota taco!

What's the law say about how long kids need to be in car/booster seats?

Been there, done that! 18 years later, I’m back in a Toyota. I tried to get by with the access cab but you have to remember all of the bags and things kids need. I ended up going full size. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend going full size since today’s double cabs are much bigger but I wouldn’t go anything less than double cab on a Tacoma.

We have two kiddos back there, they seem happy enough..
6 and 8 so they are both in boosters, but they were in kid seats and rear facing in our 2nd gen.

Two seats, a bucket of toys, couple bags and snacks..

They broke the rules. 4 balls on 2 wheels don't mix. Let alone 10 balls like this picture.
