How does your taco compare to your tundra? I am planning on picking up a new tundra in about 6 months but the folks i have talked to have all gone from taco to tundra and not the other way around, so maybe you have some insight that they dont.

Personally, I think that the Tundra is a great truck, but i grew up driving my dads Tacoma, and have owed an 87 4runner, and 2 other Tacos. the MPG is the main thing that i didn't like about the Tundra a best i was getting 12.5.

Missing My Last Tacoma --- Had 11 Toyota trucks in the past and many other Toyota cars too.
...^^^... I have gone back and forth from small Toyota P/U's to Tundra, to Tacoma, to Tundra, back to Tacoma's, to Ridgeline and back to several Tacoma's (had a Titan & Frontier during that time too).

The last Tundra was a 5.7 and a great truck if you like BIG ... I go with the Tacoma for size. Both are great trucks but the Tacoma is too big for my needs now ... it's about size, maneuverability and gas consumption.

If I had a family and car seats and did limited off-roading, I would go Ridgeline. ........... If I off-roaded and had a family, I would go Tundra.

PS ... The quality of the Tundra & Tacoma are about the same today .... gone are the days of the 22R that could go 1 million miles. My favorite Tacoma was a 2004 DC/SB V6.

I love how you can buy the TRD PRO grille for $150 or pay an extra $8k to get it when you initially bought the truck.
