Man, I've never been a fan of lowered trucks, nor seen any practicality in them, but I have to give mad props for that fabrication. Great build you have going! And that crash was bullshit. That totally sucks and you have my condolences.
P.s. don't mind my sig. I just had to I thought it was so clever:D

ok so something very expensive just got added to the to-do list i am putting the ko racing turbo kit and a paradise racing forward facing intake manifold on her so now that shes gonna be really fast im gonna go back and start adding more beef to everything on the chassis and build a roll cage lol. gotta save up alot of money so i wont be able to throw any new goodies at the truck until turbo and intake is bought.

    :woot: thx for the update.

I'm curious... Why did you have to fab up a whole new firewall?
Does the lowering process require more room in the engine compartment?

I understand the hood mod - you lower the body but not the engine...

A lot of times firewall mods are required to lay out with larger wheel/tire combos. Similar to the cab mount chops on our trucks but these wheels have to go much farther up.

Yeah i lowered my motor as low as i could put it to get as much clearance as i could for the hood most tacomas you wouldn't have to do all this with but this one is so low with the rocker panels cut off so had to get crazy with the cheese wiz on the hood and fenders lol. You would usually only have to tub the firewall for the wheels but i wanted a smooth firewall cause my paint and graffics are gonna flow onto the firewall also and the back wall that will never be scene behind the bed lol
